Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University

Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University (RPCAU), Pusa, Bihar is one of India's most prestigious agricultural universities. The institution traces its roots back to 1905 when the Agricultural Research Institute was established at Pusa by Lord Curzon. Later, the famous Imperial Agricultural Research Institute shifted to Delhi and became IARI. In 2016, Rajendra Agricultural University was upgraded into a Central Agricultural University by an Act of Parliament. The university offers UG, PG, PhD, MBA Agribusiness, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Horticulture, Forestry and Rural Management programs. RPCAU is recognized by ICAR, UGC and is considered an Institute of National Importance.
